They gota plank from shore, and placed it lengthwise towards the hole, and while one stood on one end, the other crept towards young Price and fished him out. The latter suffered much from exposure and cold, but is now fully recovered. ~~ +e — - Tue late Mr. David Greenshields, merchant of Montreal, has bequeathed nearly $120,0°0 to public institutions in that city. McGill University gets $40,000 and the Montreal General Hospital a similar amount. Queen’s University, Kingston, is left $50,000; Morin College, ,Quebec, $5,000, and the Home Mis- sion Fund of the of the Presbyterian Church $10,000.
