     scenes together. Asner, 
     
    

    
     for all he contributes to 
     
     the movie, is questionable 
     
     as a headliner. Fort Apache 
     
     has something for everyone - 
     
     violence, love, conflict, 
     
     and comedy, (notably, Newman 
     
     disarming a knife wielding 
     
     'wildeyed' lunatic).
