' iNo§tices \ w' SCOUT NEWS FROM BEDEQUE On July 29 the lst Bedeque Freetown Troop Boy Scout went into Camp for ten days at Fern- wood, P. E. I. under the leadership of Rev A. G. Crowe, S. M. with Mk. J. B. Lewis as assistant. A regular program of Scouting activities including sw‘lmming and lite-saving instructions. siiZ11a1l1UZ. knot tying, splicing and lashing, cooking. tracking and observation; gadgets and first aid was carried out and resulted in various accom- plishments on the' part of the boys-several passing their second class testo while mfany boys ed different tests. Each day was brought to o. happy close with the council fire which held a very large place in the camp life. The P. L. 01 the Duty Patrol each day uiranged 9, program 'for the occasion and some very fine times around the council fire resulted.
