um sun, SEPT.\5, 1933 To Whom It May Concern: As most of you may have noticed, Orientation was a big success this year. Everyone involved, both the Committee and the Freshmen should be congratulated. There is however one group who may not receive the credit they deserve. This group is the Faculty and Administration of our University. From listening to members of the Committee talking it would appear that they are not as interested in the students as they could be. The best example of this is Klondike Night. It is my understanding that it is a night for Freshmen to mingle with and play games set up by’ Faculty. Looking at this year, Klondike Night and remembering others from the past it would appear that the majority of them are all talk and little action. The few Professors and Administrative Staff who were present should be congratulated and highly commended. It is these people who have been there in the previous years. has been called "the year of the volunteer" and so far most of the staff don’t seem to be starting off very well. This year Let's hope that during the remainder of this year the Faculty will be a little more visable, and next year at Orientation we'll see them at Klondike Night.
