PETER DANIEL MACDONALD | The community of Milltowa Cross was shocked on Nov. 17th, 1959 to hear of the sudden pass- ing of Peter Daniel MacDonald from a heart attack. Mr, MacDonald was born ; Souris, March 22nd, 1881, son | the late Alfred and Elizabeth Stewart) MacDonald. He spent most of his life in the U.S.A. and was Inspector of Uni- ted Electric Railway Company, for many years in Providence, R.I. Mr. MacDonald retired in 1946 and made his home in Mill- | town Cross until his death. He was a member of the _—. dist Church in Providence and later joined the Presbyterian church in Montague. When un- able to attend church he enjoyed the sermons on the radio especial- ly the Sunday evening program “The Family Bible Hour.” His former wife, Miss Hazel Jenkins of Dundas, predeceased him im 1945. In 1947 he married Miss Christene Bruce of Mill- town. He leaves to mourn his sorrow- ing wife, and two sons; Elton Ste- wart, Hopewell Cape, N.B., and Earl Bruce, Fredericton, N.B. al- so four grandchildren.
