nipeg, where he has been appointed
general agent for the Atlantic and
Pacific steamship service ot the Ca,-_
nadian Pacific Railway. Mr, _Qaaeyfs
promotion in the Canadian Pacific
service has been rapid.” He is not
yen thirty years old, but his
appointment to this responsible posi-
tion in the west is merited by his
faithful .service vuith the company.
Mr. Casey has been in the employ of
lthe C.P.R. for eleven years. He was
'born in Moncton, N.B., and entered
the employ of the C.P.R. as ticket;
clerk in Halifax in 1902. In 1903 he
was appointed travelling passenger
agent for the Maritime Provinces,
with headquarters at St. John, N.
B., and this ofilce he held until 1910,
when he was appointed chic! clerk to
the` general passenger agent, Atlantic
'Steamship Lines, at Montreal. In his
new office as general agent Mr.
Casey will be in charge of practical-
ly all the stcamship passenger busi-
ness of the company on the coast.
