DOUBLE SHIFT -- The dehydration plant at Summcrside operated y Island Foods Inn. re- opened on January 3nd and went on a double shift basis on Thurs- day evening, January 8rd. Tile plant has been closed for over two months due to the British Minis- try ‘of Foods cancelling all con- tracts. Later this decision was reversed and the plant was asked to resume operations. After being held up for a short time due to s shortage of coal. it was announced last week that the plant would re- open- this week. When operating normally, 100 persons are employ- ‘ed.
