STREET LETTER BOXEB.- The
Post Office Department are inviting
tenders for the clearing of the street
letter boxes .in Charlottetown as
will be neon by the advertisement in
another column. There are 21 letter
boxes and 5 parcel receptacles and
three deliveries daily, namely, at
4.30 a. m., 12.00 noon and 6.00 p.m.
The contract provides that the con-
tractor must equip himself and his
couriers. whilst on duty, with uni-
form caps und he must also pro-
vide a proper vehicle painted red
with "Royal, Mail" written on the i
face in gold letters. It is intended I
that in future all the conditions
must. be strictly complied with and
intending tenderers should first ob-
tain a copy of the contract.
