BUSINESS apparently dominates the seed po- tato business this spring, at least along the North Side from Cable Head to East Point. While this see- iion is probably the best fishing grounds now on the Island coalt, it i: also. perhaps, the best seed-potato ground. Many of the old lobster fish- ermen quit fishing, last year. to make their fortunes from the soil rather than the sea. A tremendous crop of cobblors were grown and harvested wtih the result as everybody knows. Many of these new growers are back again to the fishing and lobster traps are 1n evidence everywhere along the coast. Not a word is heard this spring of fertilizer or seed potatoes. ..'INSTITU'I'E MIITINGF- The regular monthly meeting of the Georgetown Women's Institute was held in the Council Room on Thurs- day, April 11th with an attendance of eighteen members.
