FREEMAN CRESS The death occurred at the Aber- deen Hospital. New Glasgow. N.S., on February 28th. I957, of Mrs. Freeman Cress, after a long ill- less. Mrs. Cress was born in I-Elmira. P.E.I.. 62 years ago.. the former Mas MacNeilI and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Atrhur Mac- Nelll. She went to New Glasgow as a girl where she met her hus- band and has resided there ever since. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her funeral was held from her home 73 Townsend Ave on March 22nd at two o'clock. Service was conducted by Rev. Wm. C. Har- vey of the First Baptist Church as- sisted by the choir. Hymns sung were: "Unto the Hills" and "The Lord is my shepherd." The floral tributes were many and beautiful. She is survived by I her husband and one son Lloyd; two daughters. Hazel tMrs. Bern- ard MacDonald); Gertrude. tMrs. Gordon Williams); and three grandchildren in New Glasgow; five sisters; Mrs. Annie Bell, Newt Glasgow. Mrs. William Blankl Dartmouth, .N.S..
