George Steel, who is well known in this Province, returned to St. John, Wednesday, after attending 3 meet- ing in Sackville of the committee re- cently appointed by the fncultv of Mt. Allison University to consider the matter of raising,funds for erect- ing a new science building, the pre- sent one being too small for require- ments. lt is intended tu erect i-,_ new building at ti cost of from $50,000 to $05,000. The present structure will probably be used by the manual training department of the univer- sity. lt is understood that sugges- tions were submitted at the meeting but that no definite action had been decided upon. Another meeting v~ill be held before Christmas. MORE FOXES.-The foxes ‘recent- ly purchased by Dundas yylrties, among whom were Dr. D. E. i/lorris, and Messrs. Allan McDonald, John D. Mcfiowan, Edmund Clay and Arell- ihllld Guy, were 'yesterday taken to the Souris ranch, where they will be placed under the care of Mr. Edmund clay. Mr. Clay is R, large S\1Hf@h0\<1- er in the company and has bud con- siderable experience in foxes; so that there is no doubt the results he will achieve will he perfectly satis- factory. The foxes are VCPY large, perfectly developed Murcb pups, and are beautifully fur- red, having just enough silver to lnilke the pelt attractive.
