JGENERAL MEETING HELD- On Monday nights. general meet- ing of those interested in the form- ation of s baseball team was held at the Montague Garage. The meeting, which was fairly well at- tended, discussed plans for the raising of money for the coming season. Plans on having s. show at the local theatre were final- ized, and further dlsdussion took place on the holding of a lottery if this were feasible. Mr. A. E. Plans were also discussed for the formation of a junior team which would prepare these younger players for a spot on the senior team in future w’; years, and also this teem would . provide competition at the pre- sent time to help the senior team hon-Wu" bu", get in condition before the Lea- nn," l. gue schedule gets underway. It II L‘—. m”, ; expected that the league will be composed of Georgetown and Montague, and an interesting year is shaping up for all ball fans. At present the team members are putting on s. ticket selling drive for their show, and it is hoped that they will be well supported by the residents of this community, who have always come to the aid of those who are striv- ing to further the cause of athletics in this community. \‘ NEEM" .
