Keenan. paid an official visit to the Lodge. He was accompanied by D.D.G.M., Brother Malcolm Mac- Kenzie; Grand Guardian, Brother Rumell Matheson; past grand master. Brother John Maolvair, and Brother Alfred Pl-izzell. The Noble Grand welcomed the brothers to the lodge meeting. GM. Keenan gave the highlights of the recent meeting of the grand masters at Portland, Maine, and the current trend of ioddfellcvwship in North America. He complimented the members on the initiative and high standing of Hillside Lodge in. the Maritime Provinces. P. G. MacNair gave a lengthy address on the good work of the order. He gave some color- ful incidents which occurred dur- ing his tenure of office as grand master. Brother MscNsir was the youngut grand master in Canada during his term of office twenty- five years ago. His address was listened to with rapt attention by the members as he is a dynamic and pleasing speaker. He is imbued with the spirit od Oddfellonship. Brothers Matheson and Frizzell spoke briefly on the work of the order and their pleasure of agtaln visiting Montague. Several of the members voiced their appreciation of having those worthy brothers visit. the lodge. Several business matters were taken care of. and it was also announced that a bean supper would be held in the l .
