Appreciation for the splendid support I receive of the campaign organization; gratitude for the magnificent response of -_was excellent beyond all expectations. I want to thank the President of the Prince Edward Island Division of the Red Cross‘ Society, Dr. W. J. P. McMillan, for his inspiring interest and co-operation throughout the campaign. ‘ The work of the Charlottetown Division headed by Capt. N. W. Lowther, with George J. Tweedy, K. C., and G. T. Hurdle as Joint Chairmen of “Special Names” Committee was out- standing, and gave an impetus to the entire campaign. Similarly the efforts of Peter G. Clark, Prince County Chalnnan, assisted by Lucas R. ‘Allen, Secretary; H. T. Holman, Chairman "Special Names" and W. A. Currie, Sum- merside Chairman, were crowned with success. 1 H. F. McPhee, K. C., Queen’s County Chairman, A} F. McQuald, K. C., King's County, Chairman and L. H. Poole and A. G. Parks, Southern Kings labored untiringly to win success. - The Provincial and County Secretaries, Treasurers-tho Publicity Chairman, and his success of the undertaking; and have especially earned the gratitude of the victims of disaster, who are the ones who will benefit by the proceeds of the campaign. g Many touching incidents of heroic sup port have been recited by the workers In some cases people who could ill afford to subscribe insisted on helping. ' The workers throughout the province (men and women) who left their regular work on farm or in store or office in the interest of the Red Cross have won the admiration of all Canada. The Contributorg, without whom afteg-‘all no campaign could succeed, have merited the thanks and praise of the Campaign Organiza 110i! f0!‘ their prompt and generous response.
