A short judges’ seminar will be held on the first morning of the tourna- ment, where judges will be briefed on the rules of debating, and on what to look for when judging a debate. This tournament is a major event on the Atlantic debating circuit, so if you would like to get involved, consider judging! Provincial IODE scholarship The Provincial Chapter of IODE has established a yearly Scholarship which is available to an Island resident entering Sophomore year at UPEI. It is awarded firstly, on the basis of good academic achievement, and secondly on finan- cial need. Itis payable to UPEI for the tuition fees for the second semester, beginning in January.
