WEATHER REPORTS: The weather returned to a more normal pattern in August with Charlottetown‘s station recording a mean temperature of 18.2 degrees Celsius with daily mean high of 22.5 and low of 13.9 and a range of 6.9 to 27.4. Winds averaged 14.9 km/hr with a range of 9.7 to 25.8 km/hr. The largest daily rainfall was 31.1 mm. on August 15th. Comparable numbers for September were: mean temperature of 18.0 degrees Celsius with daily mean high of 22.5 and low of 13.5 and a range of 5.0 to 27.7. Winds averaged 15.9 km/hr with a range of 5.9 to 28.8 km/hr. The largest daily rainfall was 51.0 mm on September 23rd.
