A. John- ston, 86, of Tignish, passed away yesterday morning in the Western Hospital at Alberton. He hsd fall- en seversl weeks sgo. fracturing a hip, snd since then had been in hospital. He practiced medicine for about 50 years in this Province. Grad- uaiing from McGill University in 1897, he practiced at Emerald, P. E. I., until 1904 when he moved to Tignlsh where he resided since. He attended Prince of Wales Col- lege and taught school at Emerald and Wellington before beginning the study oi medicine. He was a charter member oi the Charlotte- gown Council Knights of Colum- us.
