On Thursday evening of this week
the kindred and whilom friends of
Herbet F. Timmons of Minneapolis,
Minn., were invited to the home of
J. Ci and Mrs. Irving, to extend
congratulations to hlm and his beau-
iiful bride. Mr. Timmons is a na-
tive of Thomson and was partiall-_,~
reared in our goodly city. He at-
tended the schools in Thomson when
a boy, and afterwards attended
school at Gordon Institute, Emory
College, and_the school of Technolo-
gy in Atlanta. He is now engaged
ln the railroad business in Minnea-
polis. Mrs. Timmons, formerly a
Miss Andrew, of Prince Edward Is-
land, located in Minneapolis six
years ago. She is a member of the
,Presbyterian Church. She and Mr.
Timmons were united in marriage in
the city of Minneapolis, April 29th,l
Dr. Wilson, the bridc's pastor, offl-
ciating. The happy couple irnmedi-'
ately started south on their bridal
tour, and arrived in Thomson onthe
evening of the 4th inst. This occa-
eion was especially detectable to
Rev. T. H. Timmons, an his child-
ren n.nd grandchildren were all pres-
ent. The cottage home of Mr. and
Mrs. Irving was brilliantly lighted
and decorated with sprint? ;'ol=cs.',
Light refreshments were served. The
iny ofthe flying hours was enhanced
by superb music rendered by Mrs. ld.,
