Work was completed and tests finished on June 27, and the teacher and pupils and some others from the district drove to Point Pleasant for their picnic where an enjoyable afternoon was spent. It is reported that the teacher. Miss Stewart is not returning to Little Sands next year and as yet no teacher has been engaged for this school as far as is known. The fishing season has closed and today, July 3 (or earlier) has pretty well wound up the taking in of the traps. Foggy weather on Monday and windy weather Tues- day morning delayed the men somewhat; but it is believed that most of the traps have been land- ed by today or earlier. Loads of homes and rope are often seen pas- sing by. We hope they have all, had a very successful year. It is reported that Mr. Lemmie MacLean expects to get home very soon from the Provincial Sanitar- ium. His many friends will be glad to hear this and wish him a healt- hy life in the future.
