His boat coming ashore with out him, after two weeks of tireless efforts of hundreds of people, his body washed ashore on June 25th. In the midst of life we are in death. How forcibly this truth was exemplified, leaving his family that day, telling them not to worry. Daddy would be late as the day was stormy. He left Stur- geon wharf with his cherry smile and jokes to friends who advised him not to go out. but he was brave and a.willlng worker never aligliting a job. Hugh left mem- ories behind of a hard worker and courage. A friend. to the young and old, he will be greatly tssed in the community but most of all in father a lo husband his wife predeceased hm two years ago. She being an invalid for several years. lie never. tired of giving her every care and attention. He was always ready and willing to help any one in need or where trouble was he was there. But God called. him for he said well done good and faithful servant. enter thou into the joy of the Lord.
