of Controllers passed a resolution
which will be submitted to the City
Council on Monday asking the Dom-
inion Government to institute an
enquiry into the high cost of. livihg
in Montreal which the Controllers be-
lieve is far greater than can be jus-
tified even by the failure of produc-
tion to keep up with demands. The
claim is made that it is more ex-
pensive to live in Montreal today
than in any other city in America.
