January 26, James A. Wilson, in the 78th, year of his age. was the last surviving member of a family of six brothers and three sisters. an elder brother having predeceased him three weeks be- fore. Although in failing health for some years previous. he was up and around until within a few hours before his death lLittle did his family realize the end was so near but he died well fortified by the last rites of the Roman Catholic Church, of which he was a faithful member. He was a kind friend and a good neighbour, strict and honest in his dealings with his fellow men. His door was ever open to all, friends and stranger alike. He will be grea y mixed by all, especially in the ome, where his memory will be ever cherished as a kind hus- band and loving father.
