UPEI SUN November I8, 1982 he It is the people who make the university. That is as true here at UPEI as anywhere else in the world. Everyone knows that there at UPEI it seems to be the same people who get involved in, and do almost everything that has to be done. Oh well, their gain and the - others' loss. There is however, at least one person here on campus who deserves a little more thanks than she will like- ly get. For the past four I and one-half years at UPEI has been graced by the presence of Susan (Sue) Betts. During that time Sue has dedicated herself to the Lady Panthers Basketball Team, being worked very dilogently as a member of the UPEI Campus Police (the very fact the Engineers made her Geek of The Week proves how well she does her job). Sue‘during this time has managed to keep up her grades and I'm sure any— one who knows Sue will agree to what a genuinely "good" person and friend she is; always ready to give a smile and a wave or a "Hi". Thanks Sue for your dedication to UPEI; it's people like you who keep this place going. BOUQUET OF THORNS: Those people who "booed" President Meincke at the hockey game with the Chinese.
