Out at Dalhousie University Arena. where the championship play starts tomorrow. the pre- bonsplel talk went like this: "it looks like Manitoba but watch out for Saskatchewan. Thosc boys are hot. And don't forget Northern Ontario." It was a rink from Kirkland Lake that walked off with the title last year with seven victories and two defeats. This year the northerners are represented by Wally Johnsbone's quartet from Copper Cliff. Roy F.)rsyth's rink from Win- nipeg still ruicd favorite hy in narrow margin although Johnny Franklin's stone wieldcrs from Rosetown ran a close second. Gordon Campbell. skip of the Ontario rink from the Toronto Granite Club, sized it up this way: "Donit count us out. We can meet the west With their knock- out game but to us it's a take- our game."
