     The bird sightings in this issue contain some that were left out 
     
     of the November-December issue and many new members are sending in re- 
     
     ports. As you might expect, getting the sightings in order is the most 
     
     time-consuming part of the newsletter. To help cut down the work load, 
     
     I would appreciate members following these guidelines: report sightings 
     
     in the order used in the P.E.I. Field Checklist of Birds, available 
     
     from the Island Nature Trust; include date seen, number seen, sex (if 
     
     possible) and location; feeder reports should be condensed to the 
     
     greatest number during the time period rather than a day by day account 
     
     (e.g. 10 blue jays during January instead of 2 Jan. 3, 10 Jan. 8, 4 
     
     Jan. 16...); and please meet the deadline (the March-April deadline is
