WOUNDED SECOND TIME.-Mrs. Joseph Arsenault, 191 Weymouth St.. city. has been notified that her son Ulric P. 0. Arsenault, infantry, who _went ov_er with the 105th, has been admitted to Northamptonshire War Hospital, Duston, Northampton, Aug. 21st,'with gunshot wound left leg. This is the second time that Private Arsenault, who was only sixteen years of age when he enlisted, has been wounded, nnd his many home friends hope that it will not prove serious. KILLED IN ACTION. - His friends will regret to learn that a telegram was received yesterday by Mr. Hoop- er Horne, announcing the death oi Herbert .McKie, who_ was killed in ac- tion in France on August 11th. Mr. Herbert MoKie was a brother of Mrs. Hooper Horne. He enlisted first with a battalion in Alberta and later with an English Regiment. '_ 4 _- i WOUNDED.-Mr. ‘Morrisf __Galla.ni, New Acadia, has been notified" that his son Private Joseph Harmony Gal~ lant was officially admitted to Ducli- ess Connaught Red Cross Hospital on August 13th suffering from gun- shot wound in elbdomen. .___ Mrs. Margaret Cobb Harvey. wife of the late John Harvey, passed away quietly at her home in Cape Traverse, just five months after the death of her husband. She was a daughter of the late Daniel Cobb, of Bedeque, and was hom May 5, 1851. isince her marriage some forty years ago she has lived in Cape Traverse. At inter- vals during the past ten years she has suffered from a weak heart until finally it has ceased to beat. Mrs. Harvey was the mother of eight chil- dren, only one of whom died in child- hood. The other-seven survive her. though widely scattered throughout Canada: Fred, Edith and Gordon be- ing in Cape Traverse, Dan in Winni- peg, Harry 'in Toronto, Bruce in Van- couver, and Mrs. Ira 'Cameron in Car- man. The last two were unable to bs present at the end. ‘ Mrs. Harvey was one of those mo- thers who tried to realize the highest good through her children. whose welfare constituted her happiness. In them she tried to instil love of vir- ture and to create habits of useful- ness. Though of a retiring disposi- tion she wasastrong character, much loved and respected by all who met her in her own home. Both she and her husband will be greatly missed not only by their children but by the church, the school and the communi- ty. The funeral services were conduct- ed by the Rev. J.
