      I
      have
      thought,
      for
      some
      time,
      that
      it
     
     
      would
      be
      interesting
      for
      students
      to
      know
     
     
      what
      their
      teachers
      are
      thinking.
      I
      reasoned
     
     
      that
      asking
      students
      and
      faculty
      to
      come
      up
     
     
      with
      questions
      made
      the
      most
      sense
      because
     
     
      it
      would
      be
      inclusive
      to
      everyone.
     
    

    
     
      We
      received
      no
      responses
      so
      were
     
     
      forced
      to
      go
      ahead
      with
      what
      we
      thought
      were
     
     
      appropriate
      questions.
      I
      had
      hoped
      to
      get
     
     
      ten
      responses
      (20%)
      because
      |
      thought
      that
     
     
      would
      be
      a
      fair
      sampling.
      We
      received
      nearly
     
     
      double
      what
      I
      had
      hoped
      for
      (19,
      38%)
      so!
     
     
      am
      proud
      at
      the
      display
      ofa
      lack
      of
      apathy.
     
    

    
     
      I
      am
      hoping
      this
      can
      become
      a
     
     
      tradition
      at
      this
      newspaper
      and
      in
      the
      future
      it
     
     
      is
      my
      sincere
      hope
      that
      the
      questions
      will
     
     
      come
      from
      the
      constituencies
      most
      affected
     
     
      by
      academic
      life
      and
      not
      just
      us.
