spirits with the prospects. The milk
business, always a large one in` this
vicinity, has this year exceeded all others,
and our factory has had to undergo
extension, a new vat has been placed
therein and it is now capable of manu-
facturing 30,000 lbs of milk per day. There
g is no doubt that Mr. Clark and staff' will
turn out a large quantity of cheese of the

town, son of the late Joseph R. McDonald,
and Mr. Percy D. Crosby, son of Albert

awarded the diploma of the P. E. Island
Commercial College by Principal Oxen-
him, after having passed a highly satis-
factory examination for a full business
course. These young gentlemen dererve
the highest ineed of praise for the manner
in which they have acquitted themselves,
in their studies in this Business College.
They both possess much more than average
ability, and their perseverance and energy
are highly commendable.
YESTERDAY afternoon Alfred Houston.
and a young lad named Ledwich, son of
Geo. Ledwich, Esq. were out rowinf' and '

Houston rescued the unfortunate lad from
the water and he was taken into an oilice

sent for and he found it necessary to put v

from the wharves by juveniles is a com- ,
mon practice and the accident of yester-
day should be a lesson.
