If you already have comparable alternative coverage and would like to be removed from the medical plan or you would like to add your family to the Plan please drop by the UPEI SU Office before the deadline. To opt out you must present proof of your alternative coverage along with your student ID. The deadline to opt out and/or add your family is Friday January 28", 2000. Please note that the opt out procedure must be done each year, if your alternative coverage remains in place and you wish to withdraw from the plan. An ISIC card will save you money on domestic and international travel. You can get your ISIC card at the UPEI SU office. Proof of full time student status and a passport sized photo of yourself is required in order to obtain an ISIC card. If you attend UPEI or anther school which is a member of CFS the card is free of charge to you. If the school you attend is not a member of CFS than there is a $16.00 charge for the card.
