James McGuaghey lil the eighty-first
year ol’ his age. Ho had been in his
usual health up to il week or ten days
previous to his death. when ho con-
tracted a cold. His physician, Dr.
Murchison was at once called iii, and
a-ttondcd him daily hut all to
no avail, t`0r on the above date at
2.30 p. ni. he passed liway to his
eternal reward. Mr. McGuagllc_v was
horn May 7th, 1836 in County Monag-
han. ireland, when but seven years
oi' age he sailed with ills parents ,to
this Country, on tho steamsilip, Rose-
hank, and settled lorgi. number of
years in Brackley Point. He married
Mary Ann, daughter oi’ the late l\lr.
Geo. Easter, North Wiltshire, who
still survives him. He tllen made his
home at the above mentioned place,
Ten children were horn -to them, six
daughters and tour sons. His oldest
son predeceased him smile nine -years
ago, being found dead in Penobscot
River, Bangor Maine. His dying wisil
was to see all his children but only
