He l would be better to sell stock up to uidéd to ssl: for Letters Patqutllpr, spoke on the history of Class '30, ol their entry into Kings for the first time just as the great campaign for. funds was getting under way. Those f 'were days of anxiety in which it was i often fclt that the great efforts which were being expended would be futile. As time went on there stretched out the vision of the new Kings greater ,than the old, more imposing and 1 more appealing, a. greater factor 'in the educational life of the Mari- times. That. vlsion was now a reality, but Class '30 wouldnot be able to -share in its delights. They stood on ,the threshold between the new and j the old. but they sid not grudge their |lot. Old Birchdalc was homelike and amenable to the formation of a real community spirit. A formal farewell and words of thanks are due to those who have made the sojourn of the class so beneficial and lo pleasant. Thanks are due first of all to,the president, Dr. Moore; to the dean of residence, Professor Nixon; to the Dean of Wo- men, Mrs. McCurdy, and to the Fac- ulty as si whole. And finally a fond farewell goes to the fellow-students ‘wire reliiiin ikhirid.
