l -DEATH OF ONE OF BEDE-
iQUE`S OLDEST RESIDENTS-The
:death took place on Friday at the
thome of Mr. Waugh, of North Bede-
' que, of Mrs. John R. Donalds, at the
l advanced age of 93 years. Mrs. Don-
‘alds was a native of Bedeque, and
'was formerly, Miss .lane McCallum.
j and is the last surviving member of a
l well known family. The deceased was
lthe second wife of Mr. Donalds and
ihad lived in Montrose during her
.married life. After hor husband's
-death thirty years ago. she returned
:to her native place to reside. There
ivrere no children of the marriage.
,The older residents of Bedequs will
remember Mrs. Donalds in her youth,
lwhen she was very active in all ac-
tivities for the betterment of the
community. She was a. woman of
many fine traits oi’ charadter. 'rhel
remains will be conveyed to Montrose
on Thursday for burial beside those.
of her late husband. There will be
a short service at the home of Mr.
Waugh at 10 a. m. and service at 3
p. m. in the United Church at Mont-
