South Brewer, Maine. and arranged as a surprise by their son and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lloyd Kinsman of Scarborough. They were mar- ried on August 15. 1907 at Darn- Icy, P.E.I. by Rev. James Rat- tee. and their attendants were Mrs. Kinsman's sister, Miss Sus- an and Major Small, a cousin of Mr. Kinsman. "Welve seen the electric cars come and go and the Submarine and airplane come," said Mr. and Mrs. Kinsman. commenting on the great strides made in transportation in the last 50 years. Both have travelled ex- tensively and hope to continue to do so in the future. Last June they visited Cape Cod and saw the Maynower and Captain Vil- Inrs. They consider this one of the pleasant memories of their lives. The couple make the trip to Prince Edward island every Year, and plan as ususal to visit Mrs. Kinsmanls brothers. Hum- phrey Trophy This competition is a yearly one, and is open to all Lions on Prince Edward Island. All clubs from the island had good representation. and the Humphrey trophy was won this year by Lion Donald C. Bak- er of Margate who had a low net of seventy-six A delicious hot turkey supper was served to some sixty mem- bers and guests. The speaker for the occasion was Rover Scout Roscoe Pendelton of Kensington. who though young. made many a veteran speaker. sit up and take notice, as he gave a verY vivid and interesting description of his trip to the World Jam- boree in England. He was thank- ed by King Lion Glen Cotton. who stated that Kensington was very proud of its Scouts. and it was very worthwhile to note that the small L mmunity of Ken- sington was npresented by two Scouts at the World Jamboree.
