N. The death at the Charlottetown Iiospital on Sept. 21, 1936, of Miss Mae MacDonald, R.N., filled the hearts of her relatives, fellow nurses and many friends with loneliness and sorrow. Born at Pisquid on May 22, 1911, she was the daughter of Ronald and the late Mrs. MacDonald. After receiving the rudiments of her education in her own dsitrict school she entered the Union Commercial College from where she carried off a well earned diploma. Prompted by her strong ambition and her zeal for humanity's good she entered the training school of the Char- lottetown Hospital where she la- bored zealously for three years winning the love and esteem of her fellow workers and teachers, the confidence of the Medical stall and above all the devotion and love oi the sick and afflicted who were privileged to receive her kind- ly ministrations. Her greatness of character was reflected in the strict, and timely discharge of her duties and her loyalty to her Alma Mater and to her associates.
