The opening meeting of the Cam-
paign in the Fourth Electoral Dis-
trict of Prince County was held Mon-`
day night in Kiinkora Hall.
The attendance wus large and re-
presentative, the order and attention
was good, except in one or two cases.
The meeting was opened in good
time and Hugh Duffy, Kinkora, was
appointed Chairman.
The speakers were as follows and
spoke in thd or.der given 1-#Michael
Delaney, Captain Read, James Ken-
nedy, M.H.P., J. J, Johnston, K. C.,
John A. Mathleson, Leader of the Op-
position and Premier Haszard.
The principal topic touched upon
had reference to Captain Read’s re-
tention of the seat in the House un-
der the existing circumstances and
the argument grew warm on this
point only being relieved by the
spcnker’s time limit expiring.
Other interesting subjects brought;
up were the Government Hay Quen-'
tion and Seed Oats matter, both of
which were thoroughly thrashed out.
Only in one or two instances did
the audience interfere ln any \vay`
with the hearing of a spcalker.
