Ocean Saanrer Caprurep.—Catherine Wood, the notorious Atlantic steamer sharper, was convicted in Liverpool on Wednesday of stealing a diamond ring on the steamer Etruria. The record shows that this woman has crossed the Atlantic 25 times, stealing money, jewelry and other articles of value at every opportunity. Sentence was deferred. The exports for the past twelve months reach the yrand total of $94,389,000, an increase of $8,375,000 in the year, This is better than any year since 1883.
