Presbytery Meeting Held At Murray Harbor North The Presbytery of Prince Ed- ward Island met on Tuesday in the Church at Murray Harbour North with the Moderator, the Rev. G. B. Cunningham in the chair. and the Clerk, the Rev. T. H. B. Somers. at the desk. The fol- lowing were also present: Rev. G. C. Webster, Rev. F. N Young. Rev. D. A. Campbell, Rev. D. Nich- olson, Rev. J. D: MacKay. Rev. E. S. Hales. Rev. M. C. Currie and Mr. W. C. Lawson. Mr. R. A. MacKenzie. Mr. A. A. MacDonald and Mr. H. G. Reid. Elders. The Clerk read the correspondence. the commission of fifteen Elders and reported that the Rev. J. V. Crawford, formerly of Marshficid had in August accepted a Call in Mesa. Burns. In the Presbytery of -London. Mr. Webster presented a Call from the Belfast Congrega- lion in favour of the Rev. D. Ralph MacDonald. which was sus- tained and ordered forwarded to await his reply. Reporting for Youth Vliork, Mr. Cunningham stated that the Church Schools had paid in full the cost of the broadcasting of special programmes for them last spring; that the Camps were of R higher order of success than ever this year; and that the young people of the presbytery had decided to raise a fund of S200.00 for the Church in Hiro- shima,i.lapan. as well as support camp and other projects. The proceeds of the sale of the Dundas property were turned lover to the Camp Treasurer. Rev. ll”. N. Young who was authorized to proceed with the transfer of the title to the Trustees in Tor- onto. This property is now held free of any debt. Rev. D. A. Pensions Report a Reporting on Pensions, Rev. D. A. Campbell drew the attention of the Ministers to the proposed Group Insurance Scheme avail- able to all members of the Fund. Several in the court urged the men to avail themselvesiof this excellent provision. Reporting on the Budget. Rev. J. D. MacKay stated that a mark- ed increase was noted over the Presbyfery's. Budget Giving: as of this date last year. The recent General Assembly raised the mini- mum stipend to the new figure at 52,600. plus travel allowance. manse nnd holidays. Rev. J. D.
