CONVICTED MAN SUICIDES IN COURT. HAMILTON, Ont., July 26- Standing before Magistrate Jelfs at the King William Street Police Court this morning, Harry Gilmore, swal- lowed carbolic acid and died before he reached the city hospital. Gilmore had been ‘summoned to ap- pear on a charge of assaulting his wife. Just as he had been found guil- ty, he lifted the vial 'to his lipp. Officers hurried him to the auto am- bulance, and with a couple of doc- tors working over him he was rushed to the hospital.
