Smallman, of Howlim, Lot 6. there occurred the first break in the Smallman family in titty years. Mr. Smallman had been in failing, health for some time and was‘ |brought to the Prince County Hos- ‘pita! a few days belore his death, ‘which took place on Monday night, April 27th at 58 years o1’ age. The deceased was the son o! the lute Thomas Smallman and WIS born and resided all his life on the Smallman homeste ’ ln Howlan. He was a very progressive Iarmer and most highly respected membe o! the Woodstock District o! Lot 5. and took a. great interest m the social and religious lile o! the community. In politics he was a. staunch Liberal. There are lelt to mourn, his widow, formerly Miss Elizabeth Smallman. and two children, Richard and Sarah at home; also the Icllowing brothers and sisters. namely. Mrs. Samuel Duncan, o! In spite oi the wet day, the church was filled with sympathetic Iriends who came to pay their last respects to a be- loved neighbor. Ven.
