Rain in south western Sask- atchewan approximated from one third to one half inch in the Swift Current-Sliaunavon territory to over one inch at Lethbridge. Little relief was afforded south eastern Saskatchewan all point.: in that area urgently requiring more rain. In Manitoba, central and north- ern areas received good rains which further improved crop and subsoil moisture conditions.
