The above is the title of ri very handsome publication issued by the Graiul Trunk System, giving informa- tion regarding the Panama-Califoriiia Exposition at San Diego, and the Pau- ania Pacific Exposition at San Fran- 1 cisco. The publication is printed on heavy enamelled paper, is profusely illustrated with views of both Exposi- tions, scenes along the Grand Trunk Railway System and Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. and vistas of inter- esting slghts on the Transcontinent- al Lines west of Chicago. A compre- hensive aud intelligent niap is also inserted, which gives a good idea of the new route to California, via the Grand Trunk Pacific to Prince Rup- ert, thence through the "Norway of Canada" to Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle, thence to California by steamsliip or rail. The descriptive matter is concise and well wrlteii and deals with the several attractive routes that are offered. The Grand Trunk System with 10,000 miles oi' line, offers, through its varied servic- es and choice oi’ routes, incomparable advantages to the California visitor in 1915. Many oi' the fares between the east and California, which are ln- cludcd ln this publication, are the same via Prince Rupert as via Puget Sound, while a small additional charge is made on the lowest fare excursions via thai. route, and includes charge for meals and berths on Steamshlps between Prince Rupert and Vancouv- er and Seattle. CHICAGO. June 1.- Uncertainty lu regard to foreign relations brought down the price of wheat again today. The market closed at about 3c below that of yesterday. Corn dropped 2c and oats about lc a busiiel. The Argen- tine crop is playing a considerable part in the market at the present time. WINNIPEG, Juno 1.- Weakness in the grain market was conspicuous today in Winnipeg. Crop conditions was reported as good and the ex- port huslness has almost altogether fallen off. A fair demand exists for low grade oats and also for barley. MONTREAL. June 1.- The feature of the market to-day was decline in the price of oats which dropped 2%c. At this price there was some demand and forty thousand changed hands. The price of' hogs dropped 5c per lb. today, but the feeling is that there will be no further decline. EGGS: The receipts of eggs today were 3,109 cases as compared with 1,- 389 for the corresponding date a your ago. The enquiry from foreign buyers for Canadian eggs is increasing but tho prices seem to be too high. There was however a .fair amount of busi- ness done for local account. DAIRY PRODUCE: The butter market is quite steady and the cheese flrni. Local stocks of butter are smaller than a year ago and cheese larger. There was no change ln the prices. CHICAGO, June 3.-Oklahoma re- ports that an inch of rain had fallen lu the last twenty~four hours and that unless there was 9. let-up the harvest would be impaired advanced wheat to-day from 1c. to 1%c. per bushel. The total inspec- tions yesterday were 82 cars. There was an excellent demand for Nos. l, 2, 3 and 4 grades of wheat by expor- ters, presumably to iill old contracts. There was nothing doing in oats, bar- ley or flax. TORONTO, June 3.-Wlicat markct reacted sharply today, going up 2c io llc. Reports in crop conditions seem to be the cliict' influence in the rise. Local business is still veryvqulet. Other grains rcinaiueil about the same. - MONTREAL, June 3.-The feature of the market to-day was thc advance in wheat. The local market for oats was steadler to-day at the recent de- cline in prices, No. 3 (ianatlian West- ern being quoted at 65c.; extra No. 1 feed at 65c.; No. l iced at iilic. and No. 2 feed at 62c. A fair volume of’ business continues to be done in baled hay for local ac- count and the tone of the market rc- nialns firm with sales of car lots oi’ No. 1 hay at $21 to $21.50 and No. 2 hay at $20 to $20.50 per ton ex-track. There was no new development in local hog situation to-day, prices bc- ing .steady but advices received from Toronto yesterday stated that the market for live hogs was firmer and prices a little higher, which indicates that although supplies have been somewhat larger of late they are all wanted by packers owing to the large trade being done in smoked meats for export account. The receipts of butter to-day were 3,946 packages as against 4,638 for the same day last week and 4,180 for the corresponding date a year ago. There was no change in the condition of the market to-day. prices being about steady. A weaker feeli g was noted in the cheese to-day on iilccount of thc easier prices ruling in the country yesterday and the large supplies coin- lng forward, alid in consequence prices at the auction sale held to-day were Mic. lower per lb. than this day week. Butcher cattle were in good demand to-day and prices remained firm. The stocker trade has been quiet all this week. Good inilch cows were in steady demand. EGGS: 'There was it fairly good dc- manrl from grocers and other dealers for small lots to fill actual require- imeuts. Tli1e_ tone of the market re- mains steady. The receipts to-day were 4,452 cases as against 2,897 for tlic same day last week. GERMANY THRO‘NS OUT BAIT T0 JEWS. LONDON.
