-105TH REGIMENT.-Up to Mon-
day evening the total strength of the
detachment ot the 105th quartered at
Sunimerside numbered 434 men and
nine otilcers. Recent promotions at
Summeraide have been posted as fol-
lows: Sergt N. McDonald to be Com-
pany Sergt. Major; Corp. Fenton Ar-
hing. promoted to Sergt. provisionally
Lance Corp. Chas Dunn. A. L. Warren,
J. (.‘. Arsenault. Ira Ellis, ann' Herbert
Gay to be promoted (Torporals. All
the men have procured a complete wet
weather outfit, consisting of rubber
boots. coat and hat. The health of
the men has been exceptionally good.

day en route to his home-in Atherton
