Bail was fixed at $15,000, which Lipe will have to furnish if the authorities succeed in arresting him Fatal Fire. Syracuse, N. Y., Oct. 16, The Leland Hotel, the most modern and finest appointed in Central New York, was discovered on fire at 12.45 this morning, and before thirty minutes the walls had fallen in. All the inmates escaped except seven or eight persons. The loss on the hetel is estimated at $180,000. Other losses amount to $36,000. en Heavy Weather. Port Hawkessvury, C. B., Oct. 16.
