Worthy of special mention was the truck In which was placed the large life boat of the Navy Lea- gue. lt was manned by members of the Charlottetown Life Saving Crew and a number of the Naval Brigade. and was escorted bys de- tachment of the Brigade on foot. A number of business firms were re presented in the parade with de- corated vehicles, including the’ Perfect-ion Ice Cream, Currie and Murnaghan, Carvcll Bros, Mc Lalne Service Station, and the Charlottetown Milling Co. The decoration of vehicles meant considerable expenditure of time and labor and the effect was very picturesque.
