The Charlottetown representative will have rather a formidable array of talent taking to the ice when they line up for battle against the western lads Monday night. Some of the well known defencemen the visitors will be confronted with will include: ‘Spy’ Ready, former Charlotte- town Islander and member of Port Alfred pro team in old Quebec league; Art Perry who was a member of the famed Junior Royals and the Abbies of the 1950 era; A. J. McAdam, ace defenceman with the St. Dunstan’s Varsity teams, Mike Hennessey, also former SDU great and a member several Navy teams and Hen Woolridge who graduated from the Souris Lea- Up front the local team will be well represented, Lorne Hennessey and Cecil ‘Bubby’ Dowling of renowned hockey fame Square- briggs and Walter Lawlor will be two of the ‘more experienced forwards’; both have seen duty with the illustrious Abbie squad of 1935, one of the finest hockey teams ever assembled.
