The afternoon session which was largely attended opened at 3 p.m. with a worship service led by the Cavendish Union. Rev. Mr. MacPhail welcomed the YOU"! People to his church, the welcome was replied to by Mr. Keith Moore, president of the Cen- tral Presbytery Unions. This was followed by a short business meet- ing wheri the nominating and re- solutions committees were ap- pointed. After this meeting there was a sale of programme books and pamphlets to be used by Young Peoples Groups. Those books would assist YP. groups in pro- paring and holding their meetings. Rev. Mr. Christie who was pre- sent asked the young people to take and read the Temperance Pamphlets which he had for them. At 4 p.m. the group divided into thrce groups for discussion, the topics and leaders were: The Marks of I Christian in the fields of Faith and Evangelism led by Rev. L. S. Woolfrey: Citizenship and Community Service. Rev. L. M. Murray, and Missions and World Onutreach by Rev. R. L. Bacon. The findings of those groups were given at the evening meeting. After the discussion groups were over I delicious lunch was served by the Bradaalbane Young Adult Group. This was fol- lowed by a period of recreation in a nearby hall.
