Remember the date, Tuesday, October 5th, at 8 o’clock. Fises—The alarm about eight o’clock on Saturday night was for a fire in the McKay Woolen Mills, at Spring Park. The fire was in a box of waste weol in a room over the boiler. The firemea promptly re-pouded to the call, bat their services were nov needed as the fire was extinzuish- ed by the mill hands before any material damage was done. About eight o’clock yesterday morning there was auothe-alarm, the fire being in a pile-of slack coal on Queen’s wharf this iime.
