P Dear Editor, On Tuesday, January 7th I made my usual trip to the pitto get a Pepsi. However when J arrived there I was amused to find a new sign on the soda vending machines - ‘Do not remove bottle - Refund belongs to the Student Bursary Fund.”’ My point is that when I pay my dollar, that dollar includes that cost of the bottle and if I so desire I can take that bottle with me. I realize that this sign may have been put up to deter certain individuals form removing quantities of bottles from the pit. However, a more appropriate sign might have read something like - ‘‘If you choose to leave your bottle, all the money will be contributed to the Student Bursary Fund - Thank You.’’ Beyond that I think library security, Marriott staff and janitorial staff should be able to control the problem of people removing lots of bottles. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to sound petty about this issue. I just think that it was an oversight in part of the people involved. DO NOT TAKE BURSARY REFUND Ri4°NGS TO STUDENT (QOSARY FUNDS.
