The two days wars almost perfect for the work with tight winds on the east and south shores. On the north shore. howavar. stronger winds prevailed and slowed operations to some extert. All fishing areas were ice free. and lines wererun without diffi- culty or mishap. Fishermen took the opportunity to set out traps. and almost all have half or more of their traps out. The first haul will be made today but the big haul will not be r i until probably Wednesday when all traps will he in the water ;-no fishing.
