Three new tracks. Blue Acres, New Glasgow, Manc- ton. N. B., and Ferguson Mem- orial Track at Pictou. enhanced interest greatly in their provinces and Blue Acres had the honor of putting up the largest stake ever raced for in the Marltlmes-sit- M0, while Moncton had the dls- tinction of two of the season's fastest miles being paced aver it, and Pictou races were so much enjoyed that it will be a definite factor in 1947. Some 340 events were run off in 96 days‘ racing with a total of over 1,000 heats.
